We arrived that the cemetery at 1100PM. Due to the small size of the cemetery it was determined we should not spilt up. The investigative equipment was handed out and we set out on our investigation. We stopped at several gravesites to take photos and conduct EVP sessions. There was not anything unusual that occurred. There seemed to be a high volume of bugs in the cemetery on this night.
Review of Data
Collectively the WCGHS recorded a total of 4 hours, 24 minutes, and 33 seconds of audio. There was no evidence of any paranormal activity on the recordings.
The WCGHS did not record any video during the course of this investigation.
Collectively the WCGHS took a total of 273 photos. There were several photos containing orbs. These were determined to be dust and bugs. There was also one photo that contained what appeared to be a shadow person. However, during closer exanimation and lightening the photo, it was determined it was one of our members who wandered off during an EVP session. There were no photos that were determined to be paranormal in nature.
Several investigators smells the faint smell of cigar smoke at the first gravesite we stopped at. The source was investigated, but never found.
There was one temperature fluctuation at the last location we stopped at to conduct an EVP session and to take photographs. The temperature was detected about 10 feet in front of Dan. The temperature was about 10 degrees cooler than the ambient air. It last for a brief time and then rose to the ambient temperature around it.
During the course of our investigation the readings fluctuated between .01 to 2.2 milligauss. There was one spike from .01 to 2.2 milligauss. The remaining times the fluctuations were between .01 and .04. These fluctuations are consider to be in the normal and not paranormal in nature. However, the one occasion in which the field spiked to 2.2 milligauss maybe consider paranormal. There was no naturally occurring source that could have caused the field to spike to this degree.
Aux Sable Grove Cemetery has been an active location for paranormal activity for some time now. There were a few members who detected the smell of cigar smoke at one gravesite. As quickly as the smell was detected it seemed to disappear. There was also and 10 degree drop at one site. Although, we did not gather any evidence of paranormal activity, it is believe that there does not seem to be any decrease in the occurrences of paranormal activity. Most likely continue for many years to come. The WCGHS plans on returning to the location some time in the future for further investigations.
